ISO 9001:2015 certification is an international standard that focuses on robust quality management systems. It strives to ensure businesses are satisfying their customers’ needs by providing products and services that meet client and regulatory requirements. In order to receive the certification, a company must first meet or implement specific requirements.
Some of the requirements we met and/or implemented here at ECRL in order to improve our processes include: tracking turnaround times, keeping SOPs up-to-date and requiring staff to review changes, holding quarterly meetings regarding company-wide changes, and maintaining department calendars so that all staff members know what is required of them each day. We know that with the ISO 9001:2015 certification we will be held to higher standards and that the increased focus on quality management will continue to benefit our business. ISO 9001:2015 certification will support ECRL to consistently improve our overall efficiency and the quality of our organization.
